Is the kombucha unpasteurized?Updated 8 days ago

Yes—our kombucha is raw and unpasteurized and contains active cultures.
Even so, it doesn’t need to be refrigerated when unopened.

How is that possible?

Since our founding in 2019, we’ve conducted extensive research and developed our own proprietary PrioBiotic Complex. This allows us to offer a true raw kombucha that is stable and has a long shelf life—without any heating, pasteurization, or preservatives.

Several factors work together to make this possible:

Multi-stage fermentation:

The sugar is almost completely metabolized during the fermentation process, and any alcohol is broken down in the process. With less than 2.3 g of sugar per 100 ml, the microorganisms lack the necessary substrate for unwanted further fermentation in the bottle.

Ultra-clean bottling:

Each bottle is filled on a specialized high-tech line under exceptionally hygienic conditions. This ensures that the existing cultures remain stable without any external contaminants being introduced.

Natural Stability:

The low pH level and the targeted control of the yeasts present also ensure that the kombucha remains safely stable—while staying 100% raw.

We have the effectiveness of our PrioBiotic Complex tested by an independent German food laboratory for every batch.

👉 Important:

Once opened, you should store the kombucha in the refrigerator and enjoy it as soon as possible.
