Are the floating particles in my bottle normal?Updated 6 days ago
Yes, the little pieces you find in the bottles are parts of our SCOBY. This symbiotic community of various microorganisms forms a network of cellulose during the kombucha production process (fermentation). This is usually filtered out during bottling, but occasionally a few pieces may slip through. However, this does not affect the quality—quite the opposite: It shows that our kombucha is a natural product that is raw and unpasteurized, and thus contains not only vitamins and minerals but also probiotic microorganisms. So you can enjoy the kombucha without any worries!
If the particles in your bottle bother you, simply pour the contents through a strainer into a glass and enjoy the kombucha after this additional filtering.
