Is there a deposit on the bottles?Updated 21 days ago

Yes. A deposit of €0.25 is charged on every Kombuchery bottle. For orders delivered to Germany, the deposit is added separately in the shop and is included in the total price on Amazon. No deposit is charged in other countries.

We use Germany's nationwide DPG single-use deposit system so that our rPET bottles can easily be returned at any deposit return machine, regardless of the supermarket.

The lightweight, shatterproof bottles are made from recycled PET and can be recycled through the deposit system and returned to the material cycle. This helps conserve resources, save CO₂ and reduce plastic waste – without the hassle of carrying heavy bottles.
