Yes, there is a 0.25 € deposit on every Kombuchery bottle. For orders shipped to Germany, the deposit amount is added separately in the shop and is included in the total price on Amazon. In other countries, no deposit is charged at the time of purchase.

We use the Germany-wide DPG single-use deposit system so that our rPET bottles can be easily returned to any bottle return machine after drinking—no matter which supermarket you’re at.

The lightweight, shatterproof bottles are made from recycled PET and, thanks to the deposit system, can be recycled and returned to the material cycle. This way, together we help conserve resources, reduce CO₂ emissions, and cut down on plastic waste—without having to lug them around and with a clear conscience.
